An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Passos in the 3rd minute of play forced Puei EC's goalkeeper Filipe Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, João Augusto Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Mota in the 9th minute of play forced Puei EC's goalkeeper Filipe Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Mota came free, but Filipe Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Caco Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Mota in the 16th minute of play. If Josué Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Sanches scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filipe Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Sanches came free, but Filipe Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Passos came free, but Filipe Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Puei EC defense, Caco Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Leme. The Puei EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Leme should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Passos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Leme. Puei EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Passos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 39th minute of play forced Puei EC's goalkeeper Filipe Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Leme came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by EDI MZB's Hortêncio Passos. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Caco Mota kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filipe Leme. That made the score 0-7 in the 62 minute of play. Filipe Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Sanches in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Evandro Maia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filipe Leme, 0-8. Filipe Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Leme made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Caco Mota sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goalkeeper Filipe Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Mota. In the 73rd match minute, Puei EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Mota in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Mandrak. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Passos got free with Filipe Leme in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Josué Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Sanches in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as EDI MZB's Caco Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filipe Leme. That made the score 0-9 after 84 minutes of play. EDI MZB's Claudinei Albuquerque was substituted for Sidnei Fernandez. 95 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Maia came free, but Filipe Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Puei EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EDI MZB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
