Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) EDI MZB's Hortêncio Passos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Samuel Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to EDI MZB getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Geovani Mandrak hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Rufino Rengifo came free, but Yuri Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Renascença A.C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hílton de Medeiros hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Rufino Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Hortêncio Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Baltazar Luz made a huge save. Samuel Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Yuri Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuri Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Leite in the 33rd minute of play. Samuel Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Lago having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Renascença A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Leite. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 40th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Yuri Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco George in the 44th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco George came free, but Yuri Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Ciriaco George hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Adrianinho Teles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltazar Luz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Rufino Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EDI MZB's Yuri Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 64th minute of play forced Renascença A.C.'s goalkeeper Baltazar Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeferson Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cristóvão Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renascença A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belmiro Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Luz having to interfere. Renascença A.C.'s Samuel Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goalkeeper Yuri Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rufino Rengifo. In the 79th minute Belmiro Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Belmiro Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Luz. Renascença A.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Renascença A.C. were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after EDI MZB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristóvão Leite took the corner. After taking down the ball on Renascença A.C.'s corner Cristóvão Leite fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yuri Lago quite easily take care of the ball. Leonardo Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rufino Rengifo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renascença A.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
