Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arlindo Leão took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rufino Rengifo took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serginho Azevedo. Serginho Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cristóvão Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rufino Rengifo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Serginho Azevedo made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Cristóvão Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Leão struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Baltazar Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo FC. Flamengo FC's Serginho Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo FC from getting a goal against them. Rufino Rengifos short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Serginho Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Cosme in the 23rd minute of play forced Flamengo FC's goalkeeper Serginho Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Rufino Rengifo from a close distance when the talented Serginho Azevedo managed to make a qualified save. Flamengo FC's players were relieved. In the 27th minute Samuel Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufino Rengifo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Serginho Azevedo 28 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Flamengo FC got a freekick which was hit by Renato Ortiz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rufino Rengifo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Azevedo saved Flamengo FC from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Flamengo FC's goalkeeper Serginho Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco George. 35 minutes into the match, Flamengo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Cosme came free, but Serginho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cristóvão Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renascença A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Samuel Cosme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Serginho Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Serginho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco George in the 51st minute of play. When Renato Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo FC's protests and gave Renato Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Flamengo FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Luz. Renascença A.C.'s Cristóvão Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Rufino Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Azevedo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Renascença A.C.'s Rufino Rengifo. But to his dismay, Rufino Rengifo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 63rd minute, Rufino Rengifo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Flamengo FC's Serginho Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Samuel Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rufino Rengifo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serginho Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serginho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufino Rengifo in the 81st minute of play. Serginho Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufino Rengifo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Rufino Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Flamengo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rufino Rengifo came free, but Serginho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
