When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Marques made a kick off. After some careless play in the Puei EC defense, Dito Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Leme. The Puei EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Leme should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Puei EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Vander came free, but Filipe Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luiz Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Betinho de Castro's late challenge caught a Barra EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 81st minute, Barra EC's Dito Vander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filipe Leme. Filipe Leme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Filipe Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Vander in the 84th minute of play. With 86 minutes on the clock, Lenílson Almeida commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When Barra EC's Fernandinho Alves, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Barra EC. Filipe Leme was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Luiz Souto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 98 minute of play.
