Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arthur Veloso got the match started through his kick off. Luisinho Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufino Rengifo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Samuel Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flora's Luisinho Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 11th minute of play. Luisinho Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Cosme in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Flora defense, Rufino Rengifo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisinho Souza. The Flora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisinho Souza should have stopped the shot. Flora's Luisinho Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Cosme in the 23rd minute of play. Mané da Cunha hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Cristóvão Leite shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisinho Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Renascença A.C.'s Baltazar Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Braga in the 28th minute of play. Luisinho Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufino Rengifo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Zé Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baltazar Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rufino Rengifo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisinho Souza saved Flora from getting behind. Luisinho Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Flora defense, Cristóvão Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisinho Souza. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ciriaco George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renascença A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Cristóvão Leite made a precise shot to the right of Luisinho Souza. Flora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rufino Rengifo made a kick off. Rufino Rengifo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisinho Souza. Luisinho Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 59th minute, Zé Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltazar Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. 62 minutes into the game, Renascença A.C.'s Cristóvão Leite nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisinho Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. After 67 played minutes Renascença A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Leite. In the 69th minute, Rufino Rengifo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisinho Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. After 75 played minutes, Flora's Marcelo dos Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baltazar Luz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flora reached it. In the 78th minute, Renascença A.C.'s Ciriaco George ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisinho Souza. Luisinho Souza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 81st minute of play forced Flora's goalkeeper Luisinho Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Rufino Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Leite scored 1-10 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisinho Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Renascença A.C.'s Rufino Rengifo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisinho Souza.
