The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Ortiz got free with Niclas Ellhof in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in B-S-L's zone, Samuca dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Ellhof came out of the goal and Samuca dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, João Adolfo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. B-S-L's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilmar Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Ortiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Niclas Ellhof however easily saved by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Dorival Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
