With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Soares in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Ellhof saved B-S-L from getting behind. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by B-S-L's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Cabral was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atlético Paulista's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Clube Atlético Paulista's Eduardo Cabral to fire away a dangerous shot which Niclas Ellhof despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goalkeeper Niclas Ellhof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Paranaense. Alfredinho Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salgado in the 9th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes B-S-L got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Correia. After 15 played minutes B-S-L got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Breckenfeld. Alfredinho Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Velloso in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Clube Atlético Paulista getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Augusto Paranaense hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Kauan Guerra took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Niclas Ellhof to make any attempt to save it. 34 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goalkeeper Niclas Ellhof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Soares. After 35 minutes B-S-L's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Cabral who took care of the corner kick. Eduardo Cabral made a great header on Clube Atlético Paulista's corner, it was just that B-S-L's Niclas Ellhof managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the game, Severino Soares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niclas Ellhof. Severino Soares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Clube Atlético Paulista booed when B-S-L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Ellhof didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Soares to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Augusto Paranaense notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of B-S-L's Niclas Ellhof. Ediberto Travassos replaced Michel Velloso. 82 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Soares came free, but Niclas Ellhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Ediberto Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Atlético Paulista fully deserved thier win.
