Baltazar Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Cearense in the 4th minute of play. Samuca Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Baltazar Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SUPERSTAR - DMZ's zone, Dadá Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Rosado came out of the goal and Dadá Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dadá Dias during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes MelissaMel got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Dias. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Samuca Cearense sped through MelissaMel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baltazar Paranaense. The supporters of MelissaMel booed when SUPERSTAR - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After some careless play in the MelissaMel defense, Samuca Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltazar Paranaense. The MelissaMel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltazar Paranaense should have stopped the shot. Baltazar Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuca Cearense went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 62 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Cearense. After 64 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Araújo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Paes in the 66th minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Válter Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Válter Rosado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Dias. The coaching staff of MelissaMel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiaguinho Vinhas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave SUPERSTAR - DMZ a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hamílton Veloso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MelissaMel's Baltazar Paranaense. 6-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Samuca Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Cearense in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SUPERSTAR - DMZ had won after a very even match.
