In the 15th minute of the match Diego Mourato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredinho Velloso skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes in the game Yuri Marquez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eduardo Cabral. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Diniz in the 18th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Paulista's goalkeeper Alfredinho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulão Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Kauan Guerra got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ernest Amiti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredinho Velloso. Clube Atlético Paulista's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paulão Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Alfredinho Velloso made a huge save. Clube Atlético Paulista's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Mourato ran over to the corner to take the kick. Augusto Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Niyazi Derim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Gaúcho. The long shot by Diego Mourato in the 73rd minute really tested Alfredinho Velloso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eduardo Cabral's late challenge caught a Jabaquara SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Eduardo Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clube Atlético Paulista's Alfredinho Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Paulista from getting a goal against them.
