Claudinei Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA. Tomé Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Oliveira having to make a save. Dênis Velloso's late challenge caught a FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Velloso to maneuver through the defense. If João Francisco Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Bittencourt in the 22nd minute of play. When Rubinho Perez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's protests and gave Rubinho Perez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Socanelas FC booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Socanelas FC's Cauan Guedes suffered a sore thigh after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 28 minutes, Dé Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA and the Socanelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Socanelas FC's Alex Tande was substituted for Cauan Guedes. Dé Galvão hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Tomé Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlinhos Rodrigues's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudinei Oliveira firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Alex Tande got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tomé Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Oliveira having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Tião Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Dida Motta got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA booed when Socanelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After taking down the ball on FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's corner José de Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudinei Oliveira quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomé Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Oliveira was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 57 minutes of play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Tomé Baptista made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Francisco Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes Socanelas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José de Souza who took care of the corner kick. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José de Souza in the 68th minute. After taking down the ball on FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's corner José de Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudinei Oliveira quite easily take care of the ball. João Francisco Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Harvey Elliott got a free kick in the 79th minute. Claudinei Oliveira came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Tomé Baptista. But to his dismay, Tomé Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Baptista in the 95th minute of play. João Francisco Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Claudinei Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
