Bebeto Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 9th minute Arthur Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Osmar Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divina Comédia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasiliense FC the free kick. Osmar Freitas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rafinha Tinoco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Brasiliense FC's Miguel Ribeiro was substituted for Umberto Trancoso. In the 14th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Renatinho Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the match, Doriva Figueiredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bebeto Campidelis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Doriva Figueiredo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Dedê Cerezo scored 2-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltazar Ramalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 minutes of play, Divina Comédia FC's Valdir da Silva made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltazar Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedê Cerezo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Divina Comédia FC's zone, Rafinha Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Campidelis came out of the goal and Rafinha Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Paraense. Baltazar Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Cerezo in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Baltazar Ramalho got control of the ball when Valdir da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Figueiredo in the 59th minute of play. Baltazar Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir da Silva in the 77th minute of play. Baltazar Ramalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdir da Silva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 83 minute of play. Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valdir da Silva 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-8. In the 94th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Marinho to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Divina Comédia FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brasiliense FC.
