Divina Comédia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Wit Winnicki scored to the left of an out of position Rogério Ceni, making the score, 2-0. Vitinho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pégasus F. C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vitinho das Neves hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Ronaldo. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Samuca Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Váldson Lopes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pégasus F. C.'s Samuca Tepedino tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Divina Comédia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Vivaldo Freire scored to the left of an out of position Rogério Ceni, making the score, 3-0. Dráusio Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Paraense in the 37th minute of the match. The Pégasus F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Pégasus F. C.'s Samuca Tepedino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute, Pégasus F. C.'s Wit Winnicki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 47th minute Samuca Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wit Winnicki to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Winnicki in the 50th minute of play. The Pégasus F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Pégasus F. C.'s Wit Winnicki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wit Winnicki struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. In the 55th minute, Cristian Ronaldo made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Ceni. Divina Comédia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After some careless play in the Divina Comédia FC defense, Cristian Ronaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. Cristian Ronaldo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After some careless play in the Divina Comédia FC defense, Wit Winnicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Wit Winnicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogério Ceni. Divina Comédia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Winnicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Winnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Cristian Ronaldo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Winnicki in the 81st minute of play. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Winnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Samuca Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Rogério Ceni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerônimo Fernandez hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Winnicki came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Pedrão Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Divina Comédia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Paraense couldn't finish the play. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Pégasus F. C.'s Wit Winnicki. But to his dismay, Wit Winnicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0.
