Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Aparecido in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Fausto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Júlio Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
