In the 4th minute, one of Altair FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Altair FC. After 10 minutes, Henry Grönlund made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilson Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Kröger in the 24th minute of the match. Altair FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Altair FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S O B E R A N O CIMZ were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Wesley Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Nilson Quaresma made a huge save. When Adilson Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S O B E R A N O CIMZ's protests and gave Adilson Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Adilson Monteiro hit a great ball. Nilson Quaresma made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when David Kröger sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Altair FC's goalkeeper Nilson Quaresma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wesley Couto. After a rather tough play, Altair FC's Paulo Renato Jacinto got a free kick in the 61st minute. Cesinha Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, David Kröger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Quaresma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Nilson Quaresma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henry Grönlund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 69 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, David Kröger notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma. Bernardo Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesinha Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Wesley Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S O B E R A N O CIMZ played a much better game than Altair FC and deserved their victory. The Altair FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
