In the 17th minute, Telmo Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Oséas Neto. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Vicente Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséas Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 27th minute, Marcelinho de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Oséas Neto made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Vasconcelos came free, but Oséas Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Marcelinho de Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oséas Neto. The goal made the score 3-0. Telmo Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oséas Neto. Oséas Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Moisés Madureira might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oséas Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moisés Madureira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th match minute, Petardo Futebol e Surf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Nunes to make the kick off. Oséas Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Nicolas Cordeiro got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Telmo Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséas Neto was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Vasconcelos came free, but Oséas Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Petardo Futebol e Surf players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
