Celso Dantas started the match with the kick off. Simon Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Cláudio Soares made a huge save. Simon Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Cláudio Soares made a huge save. With a little luck, Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares got control of the ball when Simon Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Simon Brun lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cláudio Soares. In the 12th minute, Wilian Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fast layne Fc booed when Pratigipe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Brun in the 18th minute. Cléberson Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Fast layne Fc's Simon Brun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cláudio Soares was a little too slow when Cléberson Sampaio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. Simon Bruns short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Cláudio Soares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Brun in the 34th minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Brun got free with Cláudio Soares in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Nuno Rangel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Rangel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 40th minute of the game Wilian Peixoto made a throw-in which Natã Hames played forward. Simon Brun scored 6-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Cláudio Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Brun's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Simon Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Brun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Soares having to make a save. Cláudio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Simon Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Brun in the 62nd minute of the match. Cláudio Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Brun went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Fast layne Fc's Cristiano Baader was substituted for Cléberson Sampaio. After a rather tough play, Pratigipe EC's Wilian Peixoto got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Simon Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fast layne Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. Cláudio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Puzio in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Baader in the 78th minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Baader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cláudio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Marco van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Soares was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fast layne Fc had played much better football throughout.
