Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Soeiro started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Soeiro came free, but Evaristo de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pendotiba's zone, Albertinho Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo de Andrade came out of the goal and Albertinho Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cristian Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pendotiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Diamond Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Quadros. Naldo Hermes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Albertinho Borges notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pendotiba's Evaristo de Andrade. Evaristo de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Naldo Hermes struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cléberson Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendotiba. When Eusébio da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendotiba's protests and gave Eusébio da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when Pendotiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Albertinho Borges put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo de Andrade. Albertinho Borges took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo de Andrade. Evaristo de Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cristian Hoffmann hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Evaristo de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo de Andrade came out of the goal and Nico Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Nico Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diamond Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Corrêa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertinho Borges came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo de Andrade could save by the left post. If Alexandre Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Paulo Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pendotiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 78th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Trigo to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Diamond Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Hoffmann came free, but Cléberson Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
