SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute Adhemar da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Adhemar da Fonseca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dinei Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Eusébio Sanches made a huge save. Reinaldo Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Goiano got free with Eusébio Sanches in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Campidelis in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinei Goiano went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Leonel Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Sanches having to make a save. In the 29th play minute Dinei Goiano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eusébio Sanches. 2-0. Eusébio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Goiano in the 31st minute of the match. Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Isaltino Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelinho Antunes struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Naldo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Pinho during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Reinaldo Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wambalamba FC:s goal. When Isaltino Couto came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Couto couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Wambalamba FC's Dinei Goiano to fire away a dangerous shot which Eusébio Sanches despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Isaltino Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Couto got free with Naldo Mello in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wambalamba FC.
