In the 25th minute Adriano Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Porto saved Austra 04 VFC from getting behind. The Austra 04 VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Porto should have stopped the shot. Austra 04 VFC's Emerson Munhoz was substituted for Cauã Costa.
