Minotauro's Ernesto Damião got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Damião in the 16th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Damião's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Miguel Lopes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giovanni de Toledo came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Lopes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Lopes in the 25th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Ernesto Damião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Décio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Lopes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giovanni de Toledo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luan Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Giovanni de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ernesto Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Décio Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Ernesto Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Minotauro were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Minotauro made a substitution. Sandro Quintal replaced Tales Vasconcelos. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Damião made a kick off. With his leg Décio Barbosa managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Minotauro's Ernesto Damião fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Damião got free with Décio Barbosa in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Paulinho Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Ernesto Damião dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Décio Barbosa, 1-4. Minotauro's Bartosz Bednorz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sérgio Loureiro in the 75 minute of the game. Minotauro's Sandro Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Pontes in the 79th minute of play. Ernesto Damião in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Décio Barbosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minotauro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
