The referee ignored Vascogoianiense FC's protests and gave Matheus Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Matheus Paraíba hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Santos came free, but Bernardo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni de Toledo was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Carlos Eduardo Sergipano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Eduardo Sergipano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pirani in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni de Toledo saved Minotauro from getting behind. 103 minutes in the game, João Pirani fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Giovanni de Toledo having to interfere. The Minotauro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vascogoianiense FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
