Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Eduardo Netto got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's Yan das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Décio Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lopes came free, but Cássio Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Miguel Lopes sent off a good shot on target. Hermínio Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio Barbosa having to make a save. Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 28th minute of play. Yan das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Ferraz in the 32nd minute of play. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alvinegro Carioca's Hermínio Ferraz. But to his dismay, Hermínio Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Yan das Neves came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Cássio Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Pontes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Neiva during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ricardinho Neiva hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cássio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Sérgio Loureiro's late challenge caught a Alvinegro Carioca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Sérgio Loureiro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Hermínio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Ferraz came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Lopes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cássio Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Microsoft Team. Yan das Neves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Décio Barbosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
