Cássio Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Valladares in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Carlos Augusto Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Domingues in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Mesquita. Allan Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alvinegro Carioca! 20 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Marques notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar. Cássio Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Aguiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodriguinho Valladares's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Valdo Mesquita's late challenge caught a Wakanda fv FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. Valdo Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Giuseppe Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Augusto Sampaio went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th match minute, Wakanda fv FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Valladares to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Alvinegro Carioca getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rony Domingues hit a great ball. Carlos Augusto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Queirós having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Aílton Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Augusto Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Alvinegro Carioca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Sampaio couldn't finish the play.

Carlos Augusto Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Augusto Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Augusto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Giuseppe Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Mattos during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 61 minutes into the match, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Yan das Neves came free, but Giuseppe Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan das Neves in the 66th minute of the match. Alvinegro Carioca's Tadeu Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Wakanda fv FSCMZ defense, Carlos Augusto Sampaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Queirós. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Queirós should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Carlos Augusto Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvinegro Carioca's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Augusto Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rony Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Carlos Augusto Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvinegro Carioca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 89 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Diniz. The throw-in from Hermínio Ferraz in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Edmílson Mandrak. Carlos Augusto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Queirós having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alvinegro Carioca had played much better football throughout.
