A collision led to MDS Soccer Club getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ernani de Toledo hit a great ball. The long shot by Edinho Favoretto in the 4th minute really tested Artur Romero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cleiton Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doriva Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match MDS Soccer Club got a corner. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramón Brodel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on MDS Soccer Club's corner Ramón Brodel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doriva Simões quite easily take care of the ball. Erivaldo Severo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doriva Simões having to make a save. 11 minutes in the game, Cleiton Paraíba dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gláuber Pereira hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Severo. José Maria Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Doriva Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Paraíba in the 31st minute of play. MDS Soccer Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramón Brodel in the 36th minute.

Doriva Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Gmoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, MDS Soccer Club's Cleiton Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Kauan Garcia replaced Edinho Favoretto. 65 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Macedo came free, but Artur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Lukasz Gmoch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doriva Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 73 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Doriva Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erivaldo Severo. If Ernani de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Marcel Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Brodel, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Gmoch in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Cleiton Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MDS Soccer Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
