The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Mitnarotov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Fred Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltazar de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th minute Tiãozão Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra were furious when Hílton Mattos was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Mitnarotov FC's Germano Siqueira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gracie Barra. André Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hortêncio Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st play minute Germano Siqueira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baltazar de Amorim. 2-0. A collision led to Mitnarotov FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bruninho Carvalho hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Queirós in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Sena saved Mitnarotov FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Rasgun Cool ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltazar de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gracie Barra's Baltazar de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Luz in the 30th minute of play. Fred Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Fred Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Baltazar de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Xavier took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Sena. Hortêncio Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 44 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Baltazar de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Velloso. With a little luck, Gracie Barra's Baltazar de Amorim got control of the ball when Germano Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Siqueira to make the kick off. Baltazar de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gracie Barra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 71 minutes into the game, Germano Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Baltazar de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gracie Barra's André Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Luz scored 7-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltazar de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's Tiago Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hortêncio Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mitnarotov FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Germano Siqueira hit a great ball. Diego Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
