A collision led to Miau Stars getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Mello hit a great ball. If Dinei Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Carioca in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Gaspar saved ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS from getting behind. A collision led to ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Flávio de Mendonça hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Antônio Carlos Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Carlos Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dinei Carioca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Cássio Gaspar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dinei Carioca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Cássio Gaspar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cássio Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinei Carioca's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Miau Stars walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
