The audience thought a goal was coming when Erivaldo Severo got free with Hortêncio Sena in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rasgun Cool came free, but Artur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MDS Soccer Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
