Renatinho Peres took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Branco. Gustavo Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Geraldo Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Donatello in the 18th minute. Rafa Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Guto Teles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Lindner F.C getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Amauri Favoretto hit a great ball. Gustavo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Peixoto in the 34th minute of the match. When Renatinho Peres came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the TRAKINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatinho Peres couldn't finish the play. If Afonsinho Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes TRAKINAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Jacinto. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Afonsinho Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindner F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonsinho Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonsinho Donatello was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Donatello in the 53rd minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
