Genílson Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Percival Maciel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Pindorama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fernando Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Gerber in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Nelsinho Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pindorama booed when Locomotiva grena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Gong Xiong Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vito Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Locomotiva grena defense, Nelsinho Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Paulista. The Locomotiva grena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Paulista should have stopped the shot. With 28 minutes on the clock, Benjamin Travassos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, one of Pindorama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pindorama. Luís Fernando Cavalcante went to the wrong direction when Percival Maciel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Conrado Qwinton charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Qwinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Conrado Qwinton got a free kick in the 31st minute. Vito Paulista came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pindorama's Nelsinho Meira. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, Pindorama's Luís Fernando Cavalcante got control of the ball when Osvaldo Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jano Mattos hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes, Pindorama's Gong Xiong Fan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vito Paulista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pindorama reached it.

In the 55th minute, Genílson Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Osvaldo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Genílson Marques hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Genílson Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Soares came free, but Luís Fernando Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luís Fernando Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Davi Botelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pindorama and the Locomotiva grena players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Pindorama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Botelho to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Davi Botelho hit a great ball. Luís Fernando Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Gerber in the 76th minute of play. Osvaldo Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Gerber in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fernando Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Locomotiva grena's Osvaldo Soares in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindorama's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Genílson Marques got a free kick in the 91st minute. Luís Fernando Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Soares in the 96th minute of the match. The Locomotiva grena fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pindorama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
