Eusébio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cesinha da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when RÖK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hamílton Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. RÖK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vito Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Cruz in the 19th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Vito Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santo Amaro AC and the RÖK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Marquez in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque got control of the ball when Cesinha Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Santo Amaro AC defense, Júlio Varela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Albuquerque. The Santo Amaro AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Clemente Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cesinha da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Varela. Júlio Varela made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eusébio Albuquerque would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Eusébio Albuquerque successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Clemente Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Eusébio Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Varela went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Varela was the one to do the kick off. Yan Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha da Silveira in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to RÖK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Edson Brito hit a great ball. With his leg Yan Pirani managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Santo Amaro AC's Vito Soeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Varela in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Raimundo Salgado got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Gilson Dionísio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Albuquerque showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Capixaba. Eusébio Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamílton Proença went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Capixaba during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, RÖK's Gilson Dionísio tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, one of Santo Amaro AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eusébio Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Eusébio Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Marquez in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cesinha Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Albuquerque. Santo Amaro AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesinha Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Adelino Jacinto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Júlio Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Cruz in the 97th minute of play. RÖK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
