Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Jochen Gijselinx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chiquinho de Moraes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chiquinho de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Duarte's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Duarte in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chiquinho de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Duarte in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Duarte in the 13th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Chiquinho de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Mosqueteiros 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Queirós. Chiquinho de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 21 played minutes, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Edgar Veloso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernard Fedosz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mosqueteiros 4EVER reached it. The supporters of Beto Martini MZ 20 years booed when Mosqueteiros 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very nice done corner allowed Ciro Innocenzio to score against Chiquinho de Moraes in Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goal. 0-1 after 25 minutes. Noel Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiquinho de Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernard Fedosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Noel Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir Loureiro during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ceresso in the 42nd minute of play. Bernard Fedosz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Norberto do Nascimento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. Alessandro Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bernard Fedosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ediberto de Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Noel Duarte made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jochen Gijselinx's late challenge caught a Mosqueteiros 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jochen Gijselinx helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Beto Martini MZ 20 years getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jochen Gijselinx hit a great ball. Noel Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho de Moraes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Queirós in the 63rd minute of play forced Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalkeeper Bernard Fedosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Noel Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Chiquinho de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Beto Martini MZ 20 years defense, Ediberto de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Fedosz. The Beto Martini MZ 20 years fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Fedosz should have stopped the shot. Noel Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto do Nascimento in the 74th minute of play forced Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalkeeper Bernard Fedosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Chiquinho de Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Ceresso came free, but Bernard Fedosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquinho de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Noel Duarte sent off a good shot on target. Jochen Gijselinx kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Beto Martini MZ 20 years supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Beto Martini MZ 20 years would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
