Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evaristo Gerber got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Albuquerque in the 4th minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Flávio Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Amílton dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locomotiva grena's Vito Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Vito Paulista stood somewhat misplaced when Amílton dos Santos came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Flávio Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itajaí Football Club's Flávio Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Albuquerque in the 26th minute of play. Flávio Batista came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Locomotiva grena's Evaristo Gerber. But to his dismay, Evaristo Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Flávio Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Gerber went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Locomotiva grena's zone, Jailson de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Paulista came out of the goal and Jailson de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vito Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílton dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Itajaí Football Club's Hélio Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vito Paulista. That made the score 3-3 after 44 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amílton dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Amílton dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito Paulista was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Vito Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílton dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Soares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flávio Batista, 3-4. In the 66th minute, Evaristo Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílton dos Santos in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute Evaristo Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Itajaí Football Club's attack was well implemented in the 92nd minute, but when Amílton dos Santos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 94thth minute of the game Amílton dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locomotiva grena's Vito Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
