Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Fernando Barros made the kick off which started today's match. Fellipe dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Damião during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Wiliam Damião got a free kick in the 7th minute. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Horácio Ceresso hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Wiliam Damião took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Camargo. Igor Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wiliam Damião scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Camargo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Camargo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Marcos Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe dos Santos came free, but Igor Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Montesclarense E.C.'s Wiliam Damião ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Camargo. Igor Camargo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Marcos Figueiredo in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Camargo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiliam Damião stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Willian Vergílio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Durval Tinoco hit a great ball. When Horácio Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Villa Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Ceresso couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Tostão Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Barros. Igor Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe dos Santos in the 62nd minute of play. Antônio Carlos Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Willian Vergílio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Montesclarense E.C.'s Marcos Figueiredo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Willian Vergílio's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Villa Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Igor Camargo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Montesclarense E.C.'s Wiliam Damião. But to his dismay, Wiliam Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 80 minutes into the game, Willian Vergílio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Montesclarense E.C.'s Pedro Luís Arósio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Igor Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Antônio Carlos Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montesclarense E.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
