The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauã Mangueira during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Gil Hoffmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elder Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Błαck Bułłs MZ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Francisco Castro hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Cléberson Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elder Lago made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gildo Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- defense, Sílvio Luiz de Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder Lago. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder Lago should have stopped the shot. After 35 played minutes Błαck Bułłs MZ got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Castro. A collision led to Błαck Bułłs MZ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cléberson Fonseca hit a great ball. Gil Hoffmann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sílvio Luiz de Amaral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Luiz de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Sílvio Luiz de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Hoffmann in the 57th minute of play. Kauã Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz de Amaral in the 61st minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Elder Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Egídio Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Błαck Bułłs MZ and the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elder Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Francisco Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Błαck Bułłs MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabius Cannavaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Błαck Bułłs MZ's Fabius Cannavaro got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Gil Hoffmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Błαck Bułłs MZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
