Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Rockets's Dudu Madureira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geraldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dudu Madureira's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Chicão Borges made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo Queiroz. Rockets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eduardo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Mattos in the 14th minute of the match. Eduardo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Madureira in the 18th minute of play. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Rosa in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gerson Siqueira hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Kléber de Amaral got a free kick in the 37th minute. Gugu Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Queiroz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 27 de Mayo's zone, Dudu Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo de Souza came out of the goal and Dudu Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dudu Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eduardo de Souza made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chicão Borges in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chicão Borges to make the kick off. José Vítor Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Dudu Madureira made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. 27 de Mayo's Eduardo de Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fabinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rockets's Dudu Madureira in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Fabinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes, 27 de Mayo's Carlos Eduardo Rossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 27 de Mayo reached it. In the 88th minute Chicão Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Gerson Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
