Valdir Pérez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Błαck Bułłs MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wanderson Figueiredo in the 10th minute. Eusébio Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Valdir Pérez made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Mattos got free with Valdir Pérez in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes, Eusébio Mattos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdir Pérez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luiz de Amaral in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano de Toledo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. Augusto Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Błαck Bułłs MZ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cristóvão Seco hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Błαck Bułłs MZ's Wanderson Figueiredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdir Pérez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Błαck Bułłs MZ reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Mattos in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. Caco da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pereira having to interfere. If Eusébio Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Massa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Mattos in the 65th minute of play. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Mattos in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Błαck Bułłs MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Verde FC the free kick. If Ademir Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Adriano de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Błαck Bułłs MZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Caco Massa hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Eusébio Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Mattos in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Pérez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Adriano de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal and Adriano de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Mattos in the 82nd minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. União Verde FC were furious when Valdomiro Paraibano was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 85 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Paraibano. Eusébio Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Pérez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Mattos's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Błαck Bułłs MZ's Eusébio Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Eusébio Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Błαck Bułłs MZ fully deserved thier win.
