Sidnei Teixeira started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Madureira in the 65th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rockets fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gil Hoffmann got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. Gil Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Geraldo Queiroz threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gil Hoffmann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elder Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Sidnei Teixeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the game, Gualter Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Geraldo Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zézinho de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho de Salles. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
