The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Claudinho Damião hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when União Agrícola Barbarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério dos Santos in the 7th minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Erik da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, FC Barrera 2.0's Gildo Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. União Agrícola Barbarense's Erik da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save União Agrícola Barbarense from getting a goal against them. Delfim Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13thth minute of the game Valério Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Agrícola Barbarense's Erik da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Xavier in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik da Fonseca saved União Agrícola Barbarense from getting behind. Claudinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Betão Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Hermes in the 19th minute of the match. Mazinho Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes União Agrícola Barbarense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquim Matos who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joaquim Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik da Fonseca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the game, União Agrícola Barbarense's Claudinho Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik da Fonseca had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Valério Xavier from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério dos Santos in the 40th minute of the match. Betão Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Hermes in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Melo. Erik da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Xavier in the 45th minute of play. Erik da Fonseca didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valério Xavier to strike the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Donatello. 65 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Damião came free, but Betão Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Novaes in the 67th minute of the match. When Delfim Melo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played.
