Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) Palmeiras's Amadeo Tuste started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Túlio Souza hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. José Carlos Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Carlos Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the game, Teodoro Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pacui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras the free kick. After 10 played minutes Pacui got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Garcia. In the 11th minute Tião Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pacui's Túlio Souza got a free kick in the 18th minute. Falcão Favoretto came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras's José Carlos Simões. But to his dismay, José Carlos Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Amadeo Tuste put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Falcão Favoretto. 29 minutes into the match, Pacui's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Simões came free, but Falcão Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute José Carlos Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, José Carlos Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Favoretto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Edgard Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Bastos couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Pacui's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Simões came free, but Falcão Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Túlio Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Túlio Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Palmeiras's Amadeo Tuste in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pacui's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Garcia to make the kick off. Pacui's Falcão Favoretto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Pacui from getting a goal against them. Túlio Souza got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 54th match minute, Pacui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Souza to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Tuste had several of the Pacui's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Falcão Favoretto as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 59th minute, Amadeo Tuste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Favoretto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Amadeo Tuste sped through Pacui's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falcão Favoretto. Palmeiras's Caio Boldrini was substituted for José Carlos Simões. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Tuste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Favoretto was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Claudinei Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Palmeiras made a substitution. Toninho Prestes replaced Dagoberto Moura. Caio Boldrinis short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Falcão Favoretto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Falcão Favoretto managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Palmeiras's Caio Boldrini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pacui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Amadeo Tuste scored to the left of an out of position Falcão Favoretto, making the score, 0-8. 79 minutes into the match, Pacui's Zé Augusto Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Recife narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmeiras's Perivaldo Furlan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Favoretto. That made the score 0-9 after 85 minutes of play. Amadeo Tuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Falcão Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Favoretto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11.
