When Paulinho Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abutres 2003 FDP's protests and gave Paulinho Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Abutres 2003 FDP getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Paulinho Koehler hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Fino in the 6th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Geraldo Queirós got a free kick in the 6th minute. México Eterno MZC's Pipis Fino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Abutres 2003 FDP. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Balotelli in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Balotelli in the 12th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Kauan Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho Koehler. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Balotelli in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. México Eterno MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pipis Fino in the 19th minute. The corner led México Eterno MZC's Pipis Fino to fire away a dangerous shot which Caio da Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Pipis Fino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mario Balotelli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa. Caio da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Tevez in the 24th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Caio da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Balotelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half México Eterno MZC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murillo Bittencourt made a kick off. Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Balotelli in the 54th minute of play. Caio da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Balotelli's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Adalberto Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
