Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Dênis de Castro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Borges came free, but Dênis de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis de Castro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Mathias Gonçalves got a free kick in the 17th minute. George Grealish struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Renato de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Lions FC. After a rather tough play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Fabinho Albuquerque got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jeferson Pombal hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Dráuzio Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Gonçalves hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráuzio Proença. In the 35th minute, George Grealish left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Three Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 54 minutes, George Foden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Three Lions FC and the TIMETER EC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by George Foden. Dênis de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Borges in the 55th minute of the match. When Gustavo Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the TIMETER EC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Ismael Arce's late challenge caught a Three Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Arce helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when TIMETER EC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato de Lima having to interfere. With a little luck, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Renato de Lima got control of the ball when Rafael de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Proença. With splendid footwork George Grealish arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 80th minute. After a rather tough play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Dráuzio Proença got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Jeferson Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Three Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeferson Pombal couldn't finish the play. Renato de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Pombal in the 86th minute of the match. Elói Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a little luck, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Renato de Lima got control of the ball when Jeferson Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Three Lions FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
