BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Secco in the 8th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Paranaense. 18 minutes into the game, Emanuel Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BMB IMOVEIS SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxaranguape - FSCMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Emanuel Paranaense got a free kick in the 18th minute. Emanuel Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aloísio Arruda made a huge save. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Emanuel Paranaense scored to the left of an out of position Aloísio Arruda, making the score, 1-0. After 25 minutes, Laerte Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BMB IMOVEIS SC and the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Arantes. After 28 minutes of play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Marco Secco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
