Erik Donatello was slow to take the kick. During this time Abutres 2003 FDP's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Abutres 2003 FDP's Erik Donatello to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor de Lima despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Caio da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Borges in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Adalberto Mandrak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute Cristóvão de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Teixeira in the 19th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Vítor de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Pernambucano in the 24th minute of play. Falcão Monteiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Arlindo Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor de Lima. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arlindo Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Arlindo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Monteiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Arlindo Teixeira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vítor de Lima came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Abutres 2003 FDP's Murillo Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Murillo Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Arlindo Teixeira scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor de Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elói Borges was the one to do the kick off. Claudinho Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 70th minute, Geraldo Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Monteiro came free, but Caio da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Vítor de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Teixeira in the 74th minute of play. Vítor de Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão de Salles in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Claudinei Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Abutres 2003 FDP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TIMETER EC -DMZ-.
