In the 43rd match minute, Jucazinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Virgílio Cunha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. Waldir Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edson de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pindorama Eagles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
