The supporters of Jucazinho SC booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Digo Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Moraes made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Flavinho Fantini sent off a good shot on target. Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Vaz in the 15th minute of the match. Waldir Moraes was a little too slow when André Luiz Esteves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. 26 minutes into the game, André Luiz Esteves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldir Moraes. André Luiz Esteves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 29 minutes into the match, Fausto Aguiar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Moraes, 5-0. A collision led to Jucazinho SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mauro Lira hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Jucazinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Lira to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Ismael Loyola got a free kick in the 34th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Délio Valadares was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Fausto Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Moraes. Jucazinho SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Waldir Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Fantini in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Jucazinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Esteves came free, but Waldir Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Deivid Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Joinville Esporte Clube fully deserved thier win.
