With a little luck, Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim got control of the ball when Songurbey Şahsuvar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match, Edin Džeko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aírton de Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 14 minutes into the game, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Songurbey Şahsuvar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aírton de Amorim. The goal made the score 3-0. Edin Džeko kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Régis Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Aírton de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Songurbey Şahsuvar. Marcel Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Guilherme Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Vander in the 36th minute of the match. Edin Džeko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aírton de Amorim having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Afonso Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edin Džeko came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edin Džeko couldn't finish the play. When Enéas Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Icoara Football Club's protests and gave Enéas Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Guilherme Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Aírton de Amorim made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Songurbey Şahsuvar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aírton de Amorim was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Berger to make the kick off. Enéas Baptista's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amadeo Rufo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's 徐斌义 was substituted for Shi Yi Xi. José Augusto Moraes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Afonso Romero hit a great ball. After 63 minutes of play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the game, Diguinho Saraiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Aírton de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aírton de Amorim came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 73 minutes into the game, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Régis Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 76 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Régis Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton de Amorim. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton de Amorim should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute Guilherme Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Mello in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Oséas Vander hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Edin Džeko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aírton de Amorim was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the game, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Régis Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
