Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raimundo Abraão started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Rodriguinho Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Renan Sena 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Samurai Champions FC's Michel Montenegro threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mané Catarinense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michel Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mané Catarinense went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the game, Mauro Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Michel Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Botelho in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Catarinense in the 22nd minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Catarinense in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Samurai Champions FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mané Catarinense in the 33rd minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Mané Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes, João Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the Samurai Champions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Tinoco hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Mané Catarinense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Montenegro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 minutes, Mané Catarinense made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. Samurai Champions FC were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Maverick Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mané Catarinense took the corner. Jeferson Amaral scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Catarinense in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Catarinense in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Antônio de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mané Catarinense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Montenegro was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Mané Catarinense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai Champions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Raimundo Abraão's late challenge caught a Samurai Champions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Mané Catarinense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Montenegro. Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Samurai Champions FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mané Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Michel Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Samurai Champions FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
