Sidney Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carlos Eduardo Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Carlos Eduardo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 24 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Alagoano. Fabinho Arruda came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Flávio Gomes. But to his dismay, Flávio Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Gomes in the 29th minute of play. When Eduardo Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Botelho couldn't finish the play. Dieguinho Alagoano made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moisés Soares immediately put the ball in play. After 39 minutes of play, Cestarolli FC's Flávio Gomes made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabinho Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Soares in the 45th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Laércio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Luís Fábio Cerezo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio de Almeida. Laércio de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Gomes in the 56th minute of play.
