Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir Loureiro got the match started through his kick off. Edmílson Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Branco hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes, Fernandinho Urbano made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexilhão F. C.'s Luisão Seco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Fernandinho Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmílson Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmílson Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Matorin. Almir Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Romeu Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Urbano in the 28th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisão Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Fernandinho Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luisão Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmílson Matorin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luisão Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mexilhão F. C.'s zone, Tomás Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisão Seco came out of the goal and Tomás Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandinho Urbano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edmílson Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Fernandinho Urbano took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Luisão Seco to make any attempt to save it. Luisão Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Munhoz in the 58th minute of the match. When Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexilhão F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Fernandinho Urbano had several of the Mexilhão F. C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Luisão Seco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fernandinho Urbano in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisão Seco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 76th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Salles to maneuver through the defense. Edmílson Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luisão Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Urbano in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eliézer Terra hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Fernandinho Urbano took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Luisão Seco to make any attempt to save it. Mexilhão F. C.'s Luisão Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Urbano in the 89th minute of play. Tomás Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corinthians's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
