Diogo Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11thth minute of the game Fernandinho Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quandus's Diogo Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corinthians made a substitution. Juan Matorin replaced Cássio Cardoso. Diogo Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Urbano in the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Fernandinho Urbano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Diogo Negri. In the 18thth minute of the game Fernandinho Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quandus's Diogo Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Corinthians fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Quandus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Negri should have stopped the shot. Vladimir Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute Edmílson Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Corinthians's Lúcio Barros suffered a sore knee after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Berger during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jânio Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Urbano in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Negri saved Quandus from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilton Alves to make the kick off. Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Quandus's João Carlos Dracena got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered João Carlos Dracena off the ground. After a rather tough play, Quandus's João Carlos Dracena got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Quandus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Diogo Negri made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Corinthians's Diogo Negri threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernandinho Urbano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 72 minutes of play, Corinthians's Fernandinho Urbano made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76thth minute of the game Fernandinho Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quandus's Diogo Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Quandus's goalkeeper Diogo Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson Matorin. Fernandinho Urbano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 83rd playminute. After 92 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo de Lara. Corinthians's Romeu Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas de Medeiros in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernandinho Urbano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diogo Negri. That made the score 0-11 in the 95 minute of play. Corinthians played a much better game than Quandus and deserved their victory. The Quandus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
